Refresh essential wear components with the RK-2300 Preventive Maintenance Roller Kit for HP LaserJet 2300 series printers. This five-piece kit combines pickup rollers, separation pads and a transfer roller for focused maintenance of the printer’s paper-feed and image-transfer systems.
Maintenance coverage: Includes components for the multipurpose Tray 1, the standard 250-sheet Tray 2 and the transfer roller. The optional 500-sheet Tray 3 uses a different separation pad and requires separate servicing components. A fuser assembly is not included.
Renew the paper-feed essentials.
Worn pickup rollers can lose their grip, while worn separation pads can allow multiple sheets to feed together. Replacing these components can help address pickup failures, multiple-sheet feeds and paper jams caused by roller or pad wear.
Refresh the transfer component.
The included transfer roller supports the transfer of the toner image onto the paper. Replacing a worn or contaminated transfer roller can help address print-quality issues traced to that component.

For printers with an additional paper tray: The HP LaserJet 2300dtn includes a 500-sheet Tray 3. This kit services its Tray 1, standard Tray 2 and transfer roller. Order the appropriate additional components if servicing Tray 3 or multiple cassette trays.
Installation & service.
Follow the HP LaserJet 2300 service procedures when replacing these components. Power off and unplug the printer before servicing. Avoid touching the transfer roller’s foam surface. After installation, test feeding from both trays and check print quality. Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with printer maintenance.
