Restore the firmware-storage functionality of a supported HP LaserJet Enterprise or Managed printer with this genuine HP 16GB embedded MultiMedia Card. The eMMC module installs directly onto the printer’s formatter assembly and stores essential system software required for normal printer initialization and operation.
Each kit includes a model-specific firmware package on a USB thumb drive, allowing the appropriate HP firmware to be installed following replacement of the module.

Model-Specific Firmware USB
Replacement eMMC modules require the correct firmware for the printer in which they are installed. The printer model selected with your order determines the firmware package placed on the included USB thumb drive.
The USB drive is used to install the applicable firmware after the replacement eMMC has been installed. It is not intended as permanent printer storage and should be retained in case the firmware installation needs to be repeated.
General Installation Overview
- Turn off the printer and disconnect its power cable.
- Observe proper electrostatic-discharge precautions before accessing the formatter.
- Remove the existing eMMC and carefully seat the replacement module.
- Reassemble the printer and use the included USB drive to install the selected firmware.
- Restart the printer and confirm normal operation by printing a configuration page.
Installation procedures vary by printer model. Professional installation is recommended if you are unfamiliar with formatter components, firmware recovery or ESD-sensitive electronics.
