Installation Overview

Confirm that the printer model and replacement printhead are compatible.
Open the cartridge-access door and allow the ink carriage to move into its service position.
Remove all installed ink cartridges and place them upright on a protected surface.
Release the printhead carriage latch and carefully remove the existing printhead.
Install the replacement printhead without touching the electrical contacts or ink nozzles.
Lock the carriage latch, reinstall the cartridges and close the access door.
Allow the printer to complete its initialization, alignment and print-quality processes.

Installation Warning: Never touch the copper-colored electrical contacts or printhead nozzle surface. Fingerprints, ink contamination, static discharge or physical damage during installation can prevent the printhead from operating correctly.

When Printhead Replacement May Be Appropriate

Diagnostic Note: A replacement printhead will not correct every ink-system or print-quality problem. Similar symptoms can be caused by empty, incompatible or defective cartridges; contaminated electrical contacts; damaged carriage wiring; service-station failures; firmware issues or other internal printer faults.

Condition and Warranty Note: This item is supplied in New Pull condition, meaning it was removed from an unused or minimally handled donor device. Each printhead is inspected and function-tested before shipment. Minor handling marks or residual initialization ink may be present and do not affect normal operation. Due to the sensitive electronic and ink-contact nature of printheads, all sales are final and returns are not accepted. The item remains covered by a 30-day warranty against verified product defects. The warranty does not cover incompatibility, incorrect diagnosis, installation damage, contaminated contacts, damaged nozzles, misuse or problems caused by ink cartridges or other printer components.
